READ THIS - IT IS IMPORTANT

Like *all* decompression software, DivePlan is not perfect and is not guaranteed to be free from errors.

Think of it this way. On a technical dive, you don't trust your regulator, so you take two. You don't trust your lights, so you take two or three. You probably shouldn't trust yourself, so you take a buddy. Decompression software is the same. You should always check your planned profiles against as many programs as possible.

In any case, even if DivePlan was a perfect implementation of Buhlmann and Baker's decompression models, it won't guarantee that you won't get bent. The opposite it true. These models have a bend rate in the order of 0.01%. If you dive often enough, using this or any other model, you are *guaranteed* to get bent eventually.

As a diver, you run the risk of getting injured or killed every time you dive. If you don't accept that risk, don't get in the water!
